Questions
- Is the EMI calculator widget really free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no fee and no usage limit. The only condition is the short "Powered by PaisaTools" credit line under the widget, which is part of the code and should stay in place.
- Will it show ads or other companies' offers on my site?
- No. The widget shows only the calculator: loan amount, interest rate and tenure sliders, the EMI, the principal-versus-interest split and the year-by-year schedule. Nothing else is shown inside it.
- How do I add an EMI calculator to a WordPress site?
- Open the page in the block editor, add a "Custom HTML" block, paste the code and update the page. In the classic editor, switch to the Text tab and paste it. On Wix, use Embed → Embed a site or Custom code; on Blogger, switch the post to HTML view.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes. The widget is responsive and fills the width you give it, up to 760 px. On phones the inputs stack above the result. If your page is very narrow, increase the height in the code to about 900.
- Can I set my own default loan amount or interest rate?
- Visitors set their own values with the sliders and boxes. The default is a ₹25 lakh, 20-year loan at 9%, a typical home-loan case. If you need different defaults for a project page, write to press@paisatools.co.in.
- Is the EMI calculation accurate?
- It uses the standard reducing-balance formula banks use: EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n ÷ ((1+r)^n − 1), with r the monthly rate and n the number of months. Bank figures can differ by a few rupees because of rounding and the date of the first EMI.
