Size your position

Position size is how many units you buy. It decides how much one move costs you far more than which market you pick. With 10× leverage, $10,000 can control $100,000 of a market, which means a 1% move is 10% of your account.

1.Start at a quarter

Use the 25% size button until you have a feel for how fast a market moves. You can always add to a trade that is working.

2.Check the liquidation line

When you hold a position the chart draws an orange LIQ line: the price where this trade alone would wipe your account. If it is close to the price, you are too big.

3.Spread the risk, not the attention

Two small positions in markets moving differently are steadier than one big one. More than two at once is usually more than you can watch.
