Take profit on purpose

A take-profit closes the trade automatically when the price reaches your target. It turns 'I'll sell when it feels right' into a plan, and it stops a winning trade from round-tripping back to nothing.

1.Aim for twice your risk

If your stop is 0.3% away, put the target 0.6% or more away. Then you can be wrong more often than you are right and still finish ahead.

2.Use the levels the chart gives you

The last high is where sellers showed up before. A target just below it fills more often than one just above it.

3.Let it work

Closing early every time the trade shows a small profit, and holding losers to their stop, is the most common way a decent win rate still loses money.
