Jio Platforms IPO: FAQ

When does the Jio IPO open?
Press reports on 6 October 2026, citing Reuters, say bidding opens on 21 October and closes on 23 October 2026. The company has not confirmed these dates. They become official only when the red herring prospectus (RHP) is filed.
What is the Jio IPO GMP today?
The grey-market tracker this page reads has not quoted a GMP for Jio Platforms yet. Figures shared on social media and some websites are unverified. GMP is unofficial in any case and does not predict listing gains.
What is the Jio IPO price band and lot size?
Neither has been announced. Several different price bands are circulating in the press and they contradict each other. The real band and lot size will be in the RHP, usually a few working days before bidding opens.
When is the Jio IPO allotment date?
If bidding closes on 23 October as reported, allotment would normally be finalised one working day later, around 26 October 2026, under SEBI's T+3 timetable. Listing is reported for 28 October. Neither date is confirmed by the company.
How do I check Jio IPO allotment status?
The draft offer document names KFin Technologies as the registrar, so allotment will be checked on KFin's IPO status page with your PAN, application number or demat ID. You can also check on the BSE and NSE application-status pages.
Do Reliance shareholders get a better chance in the Jio IPO?
There is a separate reservation portion for eligible Reliance shareholders, which gives them a second, separate draw alongside the retail one. Who qualifies, and the cut-off date, are explained in our shareholder-quota guide.
Where is the Jio IPO RHP?
It has not been filed yet. Only the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP), filed with SEBI on 19 June 2026, is public. Once the RHP is filed, it is published on the SEBI, NSE and BSE websites.

This page is informational, not investment advice. Reported dates and sizes come from press reports and can change; the red herring prospectus filed with SEBI, NSE and BSE is the only official source for the price band, lot size, dates and reserved-portion sizes. GMP is an unofficial grey-market figure and does not predict listing gains.
