Break-even: the price must move +₹0.08/unit (0.08%) just to cover charges before any profit.
NSE. Statutory charges as notified (F&O STT per the 1 Apr 2026 hike; options charged on premium). Brokerage plans are defaults as of 2026-06-17— confirm with your broker or pick “Custom”. DP charge applies only to equity delivery sells.
The price you see isn't the cost you pay. Every equity trade is shaved by brokerage plus a stack of statutory charges — STT, exchange and SEBI fees, stamp duty, GST and (for delivery) DP charges. This calculator shows the real, all-in cost and your actual net profit.
Pick your brokerand the tool applies its exact brokerage plan, so you don't have to remember whether it's ₹20 flat, a percentage, or free. Enter your buy and sell price and quantity, choose delivery or intraday, and you get a full charge breakdown, your net P&L, and the break-even move — how far the price must rise just to cover costs.
It's the reality check every trader needs: on small trades, charges can quietly eat a surprising slice of your gains. Investing for the long term instead? See what your money could become in a SIP or lump sum.
Charges are computed for NSE equity per the notified statutory rates — STT (delivery 0.1% buy+sell; intraday 0.025% sell), exchange transaction charges, SEBI turnover fee (₹10/crore), stamp duty (buy side), 18% GST on brokerage + transaction + SEBI, and DP charges on delivery sells — plus your broker's brokerage plan. F&O uses the STT hiked on 1 April 2026 (futures 0.05% sell; options 0.15% on premium sell) with options charged on premium, not notional. Brokerage plans are dated defaults; confirm with your broker.
