Take-home salary, HRA, gratuity

Estimate your take-home salary, income tax, HRA exemption and gratuity for FY 2026-27 in seconds — with the latest new-regime slabs, the ₹75,000 standard deduction and §87A rebate built in. Useful at offer-letter time, before filing, or just to sanity-check a payslip. Free, accurate, and private.

From offer letter to tax return

At offer time, use the in-hand salary calculator to turn CTC into a monthly take-home figure. Before filing, the income-tax calculator compares the old and new regimes on your actual numbers, and the ITR-form finder tells you which return applies. HRA, gratuity and overtime each have their own rules, so use the dedicated calculator rather than a rough percentage.

Old regime or new

The new regime has lower slabs and a larger rebate, but drops most deductions; the old regime keeps HRA, 80C and 80D but taxes more at each slab. Neither is better for everyone: the break-even depends on how much you can actually claim. Run both with your real deductions, and recheck every year, because the rules and your salary both change.
